Goomchy :  GOOM means lost, CHY is suffix used with goom. We all are in search of something which we don’t know. When we travel we get feeling of fulfilled and some times when we meet someone we get feeling of fulfilled. GOOMCHY  is that feeling which make people feel complete, fulfilled , good , joyful, loved,  cared, confidence, happy 😍💞

About Goomchy

Goomchy is a vibrant travel community that organizes group travels, trekking, camping, and adventure sports. Founded by Shilam Thakur, a passionate traveler with an insatiable love for exploring the outdoors, Goomchy is built on the belief that travel helps individuals reconnect with nature, recharge their minds, and discover themselves.

We love having fun, engaging with participants, and focusing on making every event truly memorable. Our team has become one of the most preferred and trusted choices—especially for solo and female travelers. This reputation has been earned through our strict adherence to safety protocols and a culture of transparency.

We don’t call ourselves “experts”—we’re simply a group of normal people from Mumbai who live by five core values:

  • We are not a traditional travel company, travel agent, booking app, or commercial tour operator.
  • We don’t deal with clients, customers, patrons, or treat anyone as service receivers.
  • We don’t have a customer care department trained to silently tolerate disrespect or mistreatment.
  • We are not part of the service or hospitality industry.
  • We don’t believe in serving or catering to anyone—we believe in collaborating and co-creating experiences.
  • We don’t entertain online negativity, nor do we tolerate behavior rooted in entitlement or manipulation.
