  • Transfer of your booking to other persons are not allowed. Name mentioned at the time of confirmation will be the person allowed to travel.
  • Full payment of the trip cost has to be paid before the trip starts, pending payments may lead to cancellation of your trip.
  • No boarding without vaild govt id. Your id will be checked before boarding.
  • Any given inclusion not availed by the client will not be refunded in any case. In case of misconduct by a client, the team captain can immediately cancel the clients trip based on the magnitude of the situation. Departure time is given and is fixed. You have to report by that time, its on you to update your status to trip co-ordinator.
  • Anyone missing the bus will not be entertained for refund etc. and its will not be Goomchy’s responsiblity.
  • Any cost arising out of any event beyond our control like strike, bandh, riot, train cancellation, flight cancellation, mechanical breakdown, natural calamity like heavy rains, landslide, snowfall, earthquake , will be directly borne by the guest.
  • Goomchy Won’t Be Responsible For Any Last- minute Cancellations.
  • The Booking Amount Paid Is Non-Refundable.
  • The Company’s vehicle will only be accessible till parking areas.
  • The Schedule can be changed on the spot by the manager according to the circumstances & convenience.
  • If there’s any landslide/ roadblock, Additional Cost – around Rs 2000/- per day.
  • Goomchy is not responsible in case any sightseeing/ activity gets cancelled due to any natural calamities or man-made incidents. Guests would be responsible for safety of their luggage/ baggage throughout the Tour.
  • Train ticket bookings usually starts from 2 Months before the departure dates, so there are chances the tickets will be in RAC/ Waiting if you book the tour late. Please check the ticket status with us at the time of booking, you will need to pay Tatkal Charges to get a confirm seats according to the availability, if the tickets aren’t available.

Cancellation, Rescheduling And Refund Policy
  • 90% will be refunded if canceled 16 to 30 days (720+ hrs) in advance.
  • 75% will be refunded if canceled 11 to 15 days (360+ hrs) in advance.
  • 50% will be refunded if canceled 06 to 10 days (240+ hrs) in advance.
  • 0% refund if canceled in less than 05 days (120 hours) of the event date and time.
  • 0% refund if the participant drops out, misses bus pickup, or does not reach the meeting point on the scheduled date and time.

If Event is Cancelled by Us:

You can switch to any other event/date or Opt for a 100% refund – no questions asked.

Rescheduling by Participant:

  • Free rescheduling allowed only if requested at least 360 hours (15 days) before the event start time.
  • Within 360 hours (0–15 days) of event: Rescheduling is not free and is treated as a cancellation.

Cancellation by Participant:

  • If cancelled within 120 hours (5 days) of the event, no refund/rescheduling is possible.
  • No Exceptions Policy: Please avoid giving medical reasons, arguing, or emotional appeals for last-minute changes (within 5 days).
  • This policy ensures fairness and protects both participants and organizers from financial losses.

Mutual Responsibility Clause:

  • If we cancel due to an organizer’s emergency, participants will not bear any loss.
  • Likewise, if a participant cancels due to a personal emergency, the organizer shouldn’t incur losses either.

Q. I have booked/paid for the event. Is my booking confirmed?
A. Not yet. Your booking will only be confirmed once you submit the “Most Important Details” form required for safety and emergency purposes.
For all Trek/Adventure events, it is mandatory to provide your complete and accurate details at least 24 hours before the event. Without this, you will not be allowed at the campsite, as these details are part of essential KYC requirements.

⚠️ Note: Submitting incomplete, incorrect, or fake information will invalidate your booking, and no refund will be issued in such cases.

Q. Why is submitting emergency contact and KYC details mandatory?
A. It’s a standard safety protocol and a requirement by the Government of India. We are fully responsible for every individual present at our campsite or trek. In case of any emergency, authorities may ask us to provide your details.
To comply, we must collect authentic and complete information.
⚠️ Incomplete, fake, or missing details will make your booking invalid. No refund will be issued, and you will not be allowed to join the event.

Q. If I book on the event day or last day, does the cancellation/rescheduling policy still apply?
A. Yes, the policy applies from the moment you book, regardless of booking date. All cancellations/reschedule requests are processed based on when the request is sent, not when you booked.

Q. What happens if there’s a medical or personal emergency—participant or organizer?
A. The policy ensures fairness to both sides. If we cancel due to an emergency, you won’t lose money. If you cancel, we aren’t responsible for the loss. Each side bears their own risk in emergency situations.

Q. How many people usually join the Kedarnath Tour/Trek?

A. It depends on bookings. Typically, we have around 20–25 participants per batch.

Q. Are there any discounts or offers available?
A. No. Our prices are already at the lowest actual cost. We haven’t inflated prices for discount gimmicks. Discounts may be introduced in the future after a price revision.

Q. Is it safe for solo travellers to join the Kedarnath Tour/Trek?
A. Absolutely! Around 40% of participants join solo and easily gel with the group and leaders.

Q. Is the Kedarnath Tour/Trek safe for women?
A. Yes. 60–75% of our participants are women. We ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all.

Q. Can I pay in cash or in instalments?
A. No, we do not accept cash or offer instalment options. All bookings must be done online as per the instructions.
