At Goomchy, your safety and privacy are our highest priorities. Every event is planned with thorough safety protocols to ensure a smooth and secure experience.

Health & Fitness Advisory

§  Being physically fit is essential for participation in our events. Before joining, we recommend undergoing a basic medical check-up.

§  If you have any medical condition, such as asthma, bronchitis, high/low blood pressure, diabetes, or migraines, it is crucial to consult your doctor beforehand.

§  Carry your prescribed medicines if you have known allergies or health concerns to avoid issues such as heatstroke, headaches, dehydration, or cold-related illness.

Respect for Nature & Heritage

Let’s preserve the beauty of the places we visit. Writing or scratching on monuments or public property is strictly prohibited. Help us maintain the integrity of our natural and cultural sites.

 Meeting Point Instructions

§  If you’re commuting in your own vehicle to the meeting point, please ensure you arrive on time. Organizers may move out of network coverage after the scheduled time and will not be able to assist late arrivals.

§  Missing the pickup will be treated as a dropout — no refunds will be applicable in such cases.

Event & Safety Guidelines

§  Goomchy holds the right to modify the itinerary before or during the trip if conditions demand.

§  Our trek leaders’ decisions are final. All participants are expected to follow safety instructions strictly.

§  Goomchy will not be responsible for any physical harm or misadventure caused by non-compliance with event guidelines.

Identity & Verification

§  For the safety of all participants, we only allow confirmed entries after complete and accurate personal information is submitted during booking.

§  Fake, incomplete, or misleading details will lead to cancellation of booking with no refund. Your KYC details help us act promptly in emergency situations.

Missed Connections or Dropouts

No refunds will be issued if you miss your bus/train or decide to quit midway through the event. Any additional cost to return from the event location will need to be borne by the individual.

Unforeseen Situations (Act of God Clause)

§  If an event is canceled before it starts due to unavoidable natural events such as heavy rainfall, landslides, floods, or government restrictions, a 50% refund will be processed (only if full payment has been made).

§  No refund is possible once the event has commenced.

§  Delays due to weather, traffic, endurance levels, or vehicle issues are out of our control — participants are expected to cooperate as a team.

Weather-Based Arrangements

§  Accommodation options such as tents depend on weather forecasts. In case of rains or storms, we will do our best to provide alternative shelter.

§  Meals during events are sourced from local villagers — please keep expectations practical and appreciate the local hospitality.

 Shared Adventure Space

§  The locations we visit (forts, lakes, mountains) are open to all, including other organizers. Goomchy doesn’t control how many people may be present at the site.

§  Our events are crafted for travelers, trekkers, and adventure lovers — not for tourists or those expecting luxury services. Everyone is part of the team; there are no clients or waiters here — just co-travelers.

Media Usage Policy

§  Photos and videos taken by our team are Goomchy’s property and may be used for promotional content. Participants may also freely use the images shared in the group album.

Our team may or may not take pictures during the event unless they have been formally hired for a photoshoot, which requires additional charges.
